My research applies game and contract theory to
corporate and international finance, industrial
organization, and political economy. I study
organizational change and development, corporate
governance, incentive effects of ownership institutions,
and, particularly, transaction costs.
I consider effects of technology
advancement and production internationalization
of the 1990s
on property institutions (ownership security,
costs and performance of contractual system).
My ongoing research investigates how advances in
communications and information technology
affect strategic incentives.
